Biomutant places you in a post-apocalyptic world where you are part of a Kung-Fu fighting role playing game. The gaming setting follows a typical open-world RPG structure where you may run through the primary quest right away, or you may sneak away to fight, level up and complete side quests before completing the game.
Third-person combat with melee, shooting and mutant powers
In an effort to make the game stand apart from other open-world RPG games, you play as a wild animal, and the game focuses on Asian culture. The mutant ability action is character specific, and is a little like the way that different character classes get dedicated abilities when you play other RPG games. The graphics are amazing. The only problem with that is that your processor will have to work overtime. Even powerful computers are going to strain a little, but it is worth it to see the detail, textures and colours on Biomutant.
It tries to be different while copying other RPG games
Despite the developer’s attempts to create an original open-world RPG, there is very little here that you have not seen before. There is a little slice of everything in Biomutant, from World Of Warcraft to Fallout New Vegas. Yet, the story and the amazing graphics are enough to sell this game. If you liked the Final Fantasy games, you will probably fall in love with Biomutant.
